Bid for Your Vid is a small auction run by one person. This page says what the site stores, why, and for how long.
What is stored
- When you send a pitch: your email address, the platform you tip on (OnlyFans or ManyVids), your username there, and the pitch itself.
- When you bid: the bids you set, with the time you set them. Other bidders never see your max.
- To limit spam, a keyed hash of your IP address for at most 2 hours. The address itself is not stored.
Why
Your email address is used to send you the emails of the auction: that your pitch arrived, the answer, your private bid link, and the result. Your username lets me match a winning tip to you. Pitches are read by me only and are never put into emails.
Who else is involved
- Emails are sent from yourasianminx@gmail.com through Gmail.
- The pitch form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, and the site runs on Cloudflare.
- How Turnstile handles data is described in Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
- The fonts are served from this site itself, so loading a page sends nothing to Google.
How long it is kept
- Declined pitches (email, username and pitch text): deleted 30 days after the decline.
- Pitches still waiting when a round closes: deleted 30 days after the round closes.
- Bidders who did not win: deleted 90 days after the round closes.
- The winner: deleted 12 months after the round closes.
- A bidder I pick for the runner-up handover: deleted 12 months from the handover date.
- If I replace my handover pick with someone else, the earlier pick is deleted 90 days after the round closes or 90 days after I replace them, whichever is later.
“12 months” means the same calendar date a year later, counted in UTC, with 29 February counting as 1 March.
What “deleted” means
Deleted means two things. The data is removed from the live database on the schedule above, and copies in backups are deleted as the backups expire. There are two kinds of backup, both kept privately on Cloudflare: D1 Time Travel, which keeps point-in-time history of the database for 30 days, and a nightly copy of the database, which is kept for 30 days and then deleted. Cloudflare usually removes a deleted copy within a day after that. If I ever have to restore the site from a backup, data that had already been deleted can briefly come back; it is deleted again before the site runs normally again.
